AmberFest’13 kapsamında “AslieMk @ The Saints of the New Age” 9 Kasım saat 20.00’de PASAJ’ın Galata’daki yeni mekânında. AslieMk’nın bu çalışması aklın yüzeyine karşı bilinçaltı mekanının araştırıldığı ve bir “derivé” ile haritalandırıldığı bir video performanstır. Performansın sergileneceği mekan görünen ve görünmeyen portlardan oluşur. Her bir porttan 2 ayrı bireyin ortak ve birbirinden bağımsız bilinçaltına bağlanılır. Portlardan girilen bilinçaltı, bir bireyin sözde akıllı aygıtlar aracılığıyla sanal bir aktarımı olarak açığa çıkarken; diğer bireyin bedeni üzerinde fiziksel etkilerle gözlenir. 2 birey performans süresince farklı anlarda birbirini destekler ve sabote eder. İzleyici bu bilinçaltı mekanında portlar arasında oluşan “ahmakça” ağa odaklanamaz veya kendi algısı üzerinden mekan içinde sürüklenir.

AslieMk, Aslı Dinç ve Mk Yurttas’ın performatif ikili projesidir.

Çalışmaları siberuzay ile eleştirel kuramın melez kültürü üzerinedir ve sitüasyonizm, steampunk, squat, posthuman, hayaletsi-oluş, şizokreatif kelimeleriyle örülür.

This work of AslieMk is a video performance where the space of the unconcious versus the mind’s surface is researched and mapped with a “dérivé”. The space where the performance will take place is constituted by ports, which are seen as well as unseen. Each ports will be linked by two seperate peoples’ mutual and independent unconscious. The 2 individuals support and sabotage each other during the performance. The spectator, can not focus on the “foolish” network occured between those ports or drifts in the space with his/her own perception.

AslieMk is a performative duo project by Asli Dinc and Mk Yurttas.
Their work concentrates on the hybrid culture of cyberspace – critical theory and spinning around the words of situationism, cyberpunk, squats, posthuman, ghostly-presence and schizocreative.
